Brand surpasses the amount established by the Concession Agreement.

Located in the North Coast, Estância Balneária de Caraguatatuba was the first to participate in a PPP for public lighting in the State of São Paulo. The county has currently a lighting system with 24.480 IP points.

The agreement, signed in 2015, anticipated the modernization of 19.987 pubic lighting points, target exceeded in October 2018 with the installation of 20.521 lamps with LED technology, reaching 20.800 points in December.

Around 10.000 lamps are already provided with a tele management system implemented and the others will included in the system until July 2019. Average reduction in electrical power consumption has been around 67%.

In addition to the modernization of the city’s public lighting, Caraguá Luz has made significant efforts towards maintenance to guarantee greater comfort and safety to the population during the night.
