INMETRO RECOMMENDS SANETRAT FOR AN ISO/IEC 17.025 REVALIDATION

Certification comprises 23 laboratory analyses, and is considered a differential in the market advantage

Sanetrat, from the Conasa Group, specialized in industrial effluents treatment, was recommended for an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation revalidation, which attests the realization of laboratory activities with precision, high quality results and reliability. The ISO/IEC 17025 assesses technical competence and effective execution of the management system and accredit 22 laboratory analyses needed for the treatment of effluents.  

A Sanetrat also started this year the process of implementation and certification of the ISO 9001:2015, which guarantees the quality of the procedures.  The company was already recommended during the preliminary audit (Phase 1), and will go on with the process until the end of this year. Currently, its general operation capacity is of 492 thousand m³/year and physical-chemical system is capable of treat effluents with heavy meals, oils and greases and acid and alkaline effluents. The company operates 24 hours and gives easy access to trucks to receive the most diverse types of effluents.

Sewage treatment by ETE Caçadores will be treated biologically, with efficiency over 90% during organic matter removal. The infrastructure of the Treatment Plant has been planned to provide services to eight neighborhoods from uptown Maceió and a housing expansion for 130 thousand people, estimated for the period of 30 years.
