Since early November, Sanetrat Saneamento, a company from the Conasa Group, specialized in environmental solutions, began its 24-hour operations to meet market needs, especially those related to works involving landfills with the potential for greater demand during rainfall periods. The decision also benefits effluent carriers, maximizing service availability.    

For Sanetrat, this extension of time brings other benefits such as the possibility to move off- peak energy costs to sludge centrifugation and effluents aeration operations.   This way, effluents can be processed fast, allowing the absorption of a great number of occasional demands.

“For this operation, we adapted our facilities with efficient lighting and reprogrammed work shifts, making this flexibility available for more than 200 company clients”, stated company director Francisco Faus.
