LUZ DE BELÉM CREATES VISITATION PROGRAM FOR CITIZENS

The initiative promotes a bond of trust between the concessionaire and citizens

Providing public lighting infrastructure services in a sustainable manner, with high quality and respect for the environment, generating value for users, investors, employees, and partners, is the mission of the Luz de Belém concessionaire. It is the Conasa Infraestrutura operation responsible for the modernization, maintenance, and operation of the public lighting park in the capital of Pará.

In this context, generating value is not just about cost reduction, but, above all, about the interaction with residents through the provision of excellent service and the humanization of relations between the company and service users. That is why the concessionaire has just created “A Hora do Munícipe”, a program of visits by residents to the company's facilities.

“The exchanges involved during visits allow connection and dialogue with citizens and generate services’ growth and improvement. It is also a way for us to better understand the population’s needs and what most affects people's routine”, evaluates João Paulo Assis, manager of Luz de Belém.

Besides that, through visitation, the company has the opportunity to better explain the work carried out and its scope, which goes much further than repairs of emergency problems. “This initiative enables citizens to understand the scope of the work carried out and perceive the value of the efforts involved, which contributes to the creation of a bond of trust between citizens and the company”, highlights Assis.

The pilot edition was held in January with the participation of residents more involved with the city's lighting demands. During the visit, Luz de Belém's employees explained how the system works, the plans to face the challenges and the future goals.

“We are taking care of the city's lighting, bringing safety and comfort to people. A program like this strengthens the relationship with residents and proves to be a good initiative for clarification and an opportunity for coexistence”, emphasizes Assis.
